More Mature Music (MMM) was founded by Kirk Jones & Juan Lopez. While incarcerated together in Hampton Roads regional jail, Juan held group meetings called “Better Man Sessions”, where about 20 men sat around a table to create positive thoughts and collaborate on ideas to improve themselves spiritually, emotionally, financially & mentally. it was during one of these sessions that MMM was born!
Music has a powerful effect on people in how they feel, what they think and it creates a culture behind the lyrics, beats, videos, dances & performances.
We asked ourselves, what impressions would we like to leave upon our community, our children & families and how can we be creative and also monetize our art with our passion while today’s Hip-Hop & R&B music has been infected with mostly negativity, sexualization, violence, & a lot of bad music.
More Mature Music (MMM) has a variety of artists that can battle rap, provide soulful music, provide street music, enhance your thoughts, & lyrically are forces to be reckoned with.
As we develop the individual brands of each artist as a unit we are unified in our direction, each one has its Independence. Inspired by WuTang Clan’s founder RZA.
Our mission is to go on a National Tour to all 50 states with 40 artists from around the world creating unity through art, business, poetry & music. Once our United States Tour is complete, our next journey is to tour internationally with the dopest underground artist in the world.
With More Mature Music (MMM), each individual artist, producer, promoter & group has power in their voices because we realize together our impact on music will consistently reach the ears of our fans, listeners & supporters.
We live for our children because our children are the future. We continue to edify our community with True Hip-Hop.
